        When it comes to economic growth and poverty reduction, entrepreneurship plays two important roles. To begin with, entrepreneurship is rapidly contributing to the development of new jobs, as well as increased productivity and value addition. Second, many technical interventions are transformed into novel goods or services for the benefit of society as a whole by entrepreneurs. Although the majority of research and development takes place in large corporations or institutions, the subsequent application of research findings is dependent on ambitious individuals who can profit from these opportunities. As a result, entrepreneurship plays an important role in the transition of technology from academic institutions to the general public.
